California Trip 2/2009 02/28/2009 We recently made a trip to California to meet with the King of Kustomizers George Barris. Mr Barris has designed celebrity cars since the 1940's. My favorite and the reason for the trip is the 1966 Batmobile. we met with George Barris, Bill Shrewsberry, and Richard "Korky" Korkes. All these guys worked for Barris back in the day. Bill Shrewsberry also gained fame for the wheel standing drag trucks of the 60's. Erik Estrada also came by.
